Mack Adebayo is a proud Nigerian American who moved often and grew up on indigenous dishes from his parents’ homeland. No matter where his mom and dad moved, they brought the robust flavors of West Africa with them through vegetable stews, hearty meats, and well-seasoned sauces.

As a youth, Mack worked in fast food—from the fry station to kitchen management, learning the importance of customer service and fresh, hot and ready food. In high school and college, for his friends and family, Mack was the trusty cook for BBQ’s, get-togethers, holiday parties, and reunions. After graduation and years into corporate sales, Mack informed his dad that he was going to pursue his passion for food! By training under Michelin star chefs, Tim Graham of TRU, Ryan McCaskey of Acadia, and Matt Riordan of Pops for Champagne, Mack learned French techniques in cooking and plating that allowed him to transform his talents, passion, and creativity into skilled dishes, ambiance, and shared spaces with fresh, quality ingredients.
